Assassin’s Creed 4 Black Flag Guide: Unlocking Exclusive Wal-Mart Content
wow, that must mean by Dad may be as old as the Face of Boe, considering he has to complete the entire series each time a new game comes out or i get new DLC for just one of them (ie. GotY Edition of AC2’s included DLC)
How do I skip the modern segments?

They are very annoying and unnecessary. How do I skip them?

When it forces you to exit the animus? You can’t. Just complete whatever assignments you are given until you can go back to the animus.

Thanks. I really dislike the modern segments. They were useless before and are even more so now.

Holding rt let’s you skip, allowing you to move around quicker.
I’d imagine some quack telling you that you have “multiple personalities” and “psychotic tendencies” would be pretty annoying. – Fishystick

I liked the modern segments. both in this game, and all of the other AC games as well. I like learning about and “participating” in the Templar-Assassin conspiracies. Though, I do fully acknowledge your right to not like the “modern” segments. Lol 😛
Me fail English? That’s unpossible.

If people don’t like them, this game trimmed the required parts to like 1 minute each. You could get through them faster than you can complain on here.
Love is what gives you true strength. Pokemon, Naruto, and Grand Theft Auto taught me that.

Dunmer’s right, each modern day sequence was rather short, especially compared to AC3 which had modern day missions and modern day platform puzzles that each would last a minimum of 5 minutes.

“gave important developments for the overarching plot” = “were useless”

Did someone say “Prothean?” This one is familiar with enkindling. This one has enkindled many females across the galaxy.

Assassin’s Creed 4 Black Flag Guide: Unlocking Exclusive Wal-Mart Content
Make sure to unlock your exclusive content. Might as well get the paper work out of the way first.
Make sure to unlock your exclusive content. Might as well get the paper work out of the way first.
If you purchased your copy of Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag from the mega-retailer Wal-Mart, then you received additional exclusive content that must be unlocked.
Inside your XBox 360 jewel case, there are three pieces of paper.
- One of them is for your UPlay Passport. That includes codes to activate the full single-player experience, all multiplayer abilities, and customization items without any restrictions as well as unlocking an exclusive character known as the Nightstalker. It goes without saying that you should probably activate this — it’s connected to any Ubisoft account you might have.
- The other important paper included in the Assassin’s Creed 4 case is the page to unlock exclusive content. If you want access to the “Sacrficed Secrets Pack” (which includes an outfit, weapons and an extra mission) as well as “Captain Kenway’s Legacy Pack” (which has weapons and a treasure hunter costume) then you need to activate this code.
To unlock the content, you’ll have to follow the in-game code redemption instructions on the paper, but there is a part that was left off of the instructions.
Once you get to Redeem Code, there will be two options. Select Ubsioft code to input the code for your Wal-Mart content. You will need an Xbox Live Account to do any of that.
I haven’t noticed any lag on the servers today, but be mindful that day one releases can be plagued by such things.

During the credits in this game there are some cutscenes to watch, and there’s also a sequence where you can control the Jackdaw while listening to a dialogue with one of his family members.
That being said, for the first time in AC history, by popular request, you can skip the credits!! Just hold the regular cutscene skip button. Remember, you can only do this after watching both the aforementioned cutscenes (i.e. the background is black). Tested on PC and Xbox One

What button would that be on PC? Does it work at any point during the credits, including the dialogue bit?

I think it’s E, the same as any other cutscene, and it should work at any point

Wish I had known this last night when I watched for 15 minutes before finally trying to hit something and saw the “Hold to skip cutscene button.” Blah.

The PC key to skip the credits seems to be S, though I’ve discovered it far too late to judge whether it’s possible to skip at any point.
