Port(HDD) turlari: ATA va SATA…

Hozirgi kunga kelib hayotimizning turli jabxalarida kompyuter texnikasini uchratishimiz mumkin. Kompyuter texnikasi uchun esa turli ehtiyot qismlar, aksessuarlar(xuddi qizlarni ziragiga o’xshab — hazil) va boshqa ko’pgina qurilmalar mavjud. Ularning ichida asosiylaridan biri magnit xotira (vinchester, HDD) hisoblanadi. Vinchesterlar ham o’z navbatida ulanish jihatidan bir qancha turlarga bo’linadi. (Bo’linganni bo’ri yer-bo’linmasdan yurila).

PATA yoki SATA? qaysi biri afzal? har qanday o’zini hurmat qiladigan kompyuter foydalanuvchisi magnit xotiralarni (vinchester)ulovchi turlarini farqlay oladi.

PATA – bu parallel ATA demakdir. Qattiq magnitli xotiralarni (vinchester)larni ulash uchun parallel interfeys – AT Attachment. Ushbu standart 1986 yilda Western Digital firmasi tomonidan ishlab chiqilgan. PATA ni IDE interfeys deb xam nomlanadi. PATA shleyf 40 va 80 kontaktdan iborat bulishi mumkin. Umuman olganda PATA deb nomlanishiga yangi texnologiya SATA ning yaratilishi sabab bo’lgan. Chunki undan oldin ATA deb nomlangan.

PATA interfeysi SATA interfeysidan 4 marotaba kattadir. PATA shinasining eng yuqori tezligi 133 MB/s bo’lsa, bu ko’rsatkich SATA1 dan ham past natija edi. Hozirgi kunga kelib ATA interfeys(shinali, razyomli motherboard lar) ishlab chiqarishdan olib tashlangan. PATA shleyf kabeli maksimal uzunligi 46 smdan oshmaydi.

SATA – Serial ATA – ketma ket ATA interfeys hisoblanadi. Bu interfeys PATA(ATA) ga nisbatan ixcham va tezligi bilan afzaldir. Uning bugungi kunga kelib SATA1, SATA2 SATA3 kabi versiyalari mavjud. SATA1 ning shina tezligi 1,5 Gbit/s(150MB/s), SATA2 niki 3 Gbit/s (300MB/s)va nixoyat SATA3ning shina tezligi 6 Gbit/s(600M) gacha o’tkazuvchanlik qobiliyatiga ega. SATA ning yana eng muxim afzal va qulay tarafi – djamperning yo’qligidir. SATA shina kabeli 7 kontaktdan iborat, elektr ta’minot kabeli esa 15 kontaktdan iborat. SATA kabellari o’zining ko’rinishi bilan ham ko’p marotaba uzib-ulash uchun qulay hisoblanadi. SATA shleyf kabeli uzunligi oxirgi versiyalarida 2 m gacha boradi.
