What Is Microsoft Visio Used For?

If you own a copy of MS office, then there’s a chance you already have this software program installed on your computer. That said, the name’s probably not familiar to you – which is why you’ve not yet felt the inclination to open Visio and explore its benefits in more detail.

What might surprise you is that Visio has been around for some time, with its latest version having been created in 2016. Primarily it’s used to produce diagrams or images, which means that its application can be used to support a wide spectrum of different needs.

Although Visio can be used generically to support different departments, its applications are also suitable for specialist teams. Engineers needing to design a mechanical part will find their needs comfortably supported by Visio – as will architects who need to draw up highly detailed plans.

Other benefits: As mentioned, Visio is easy to use, regardless of your level of experience. This means a novice could use these features to create a floor plan or fire escape route.

As you’ll have noticed, Visio is a highly adaptable program that can be used by almost everyone in your business or organization. Its advanced features can also be accessed to benefit those with more specialist requirements. At the moment you’ve not tapped in to its potential – but this is because of your unfamiliarity with Visio and its associated benefits.

Лабораторная работа №3. Электрическая принципиальная схема в Visio. Теоретическая часть. Практическая часть

Цель: Научиться создавать и редактировать векторные рисунки с помощью Ms Visio.

1. Теоретическая часть

Главной особенностью Visio является обширная подборка библиотек готовых образов условных обозначений радиодеталей, всевозможных вентилей, заглушек, логических блоков, элементов электрических схем и многое другое. Коллекцию библиотек можно пополнять, создавая новые элементы или редактируя имеющиеся. Создание схем или диаграмм сводится к перемещению мышью тех или иных элементов в документ. Потом их можно масштабировать, деформировать, перетаскивать, размножать. Особенно удобно работать с ломанными или ступенчатыми стрелками и линиями связи — они имеют по несколько узловых точек, с помощью которых мышкой можно их ломать и растягивать самым причудливым образом. Для создания красивых структурных схем много объемных элементов с тенью.

2. Практическая часть

Задание 1.Создать векторный рисунок, используя фигуры электротехники (меню Файл – Фигуры – Техника – Электротехника) и Панели рисования. Рисунок сгруппируйте.

Задание 2. Нарисовать схемы, используя панель рисования.

Данные схемы имеют заштрихованные области. Начать построение схем следует именно с заштрихованных областей, а все остальное достроить постепенно.

Для этого нарисуйте прямую линию и, не снимая зеленых маркеров, дорисуйте фигуру по образцу, выбирая нужный элемент на панели рисования:

Полученная фигура должна стать белого цвета. Теперь ее можно заштриховать. Для этого выделите фигуру указательной стрелкой, вызовите в контекстном меню команду Формат – Заливка и в появившемся диалоговом окне выберите соответствующий узор штриховки:

Фигура готова. Теперь можно достраивать схему.
